The Kerala Children’s Museum forms part of the Natural History Museum (see separate entry) and caters for accompanied children in the 4-8 age group, who are enabled to learn and understand through play, helped by Kerala, the museum doll. The museum has five sections in an adventure/play area: a badger’s burrow, which also has a fox, grass snakes and frogs, and other amphibians, alpine animals, all about stones, searching collecting and exhibiting. The youngsters can get inside the burrow, stroke animals, listen to stories, and learn how to display their own treasures and much more.
