Located about 8.5 km west of Zug, the Strandbad Kemmatten offers the choice of lake swimming in the Zuger See, or an open-air non-swimmers’ pool under lifeguard supervision. Features include a children’s paddling pool, one-metre, three-metre and five-metre diving boards/platforms, a water slide, water accessories and grassed sunbathing areas with shade. There is a beach volleyball court, a children’s playground and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, boules, table tennis and other sports. Other facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a kiosk and a restaurant.
