The small town of Kaiserstuhl is located about 12 km southeast of Zurzach and is listed as a heritage site of national significance. A short walk along the river Rhine to the east of the town brings you to the Badi Kaiserstuhl, a delightfully situated open-air swimming pool on the banks of the river. It has grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics, but there are no food outlets and its facilities are limited to changing cubicles and toilets.
