Located at Grüze about 2.5 km west of Winterthur city centre in the Sportpark Deutweg, the Eishalle Deutweg (ice rink and events centre) was opened in 2002 together with its outdoor rinks. During winter at least one rink is made available to the public at any one time. The indoor ice rink can seat up to 4,300 spectators and stages regular sports events, concerts, shows, exhibitions and warehouse sales. This is a popular place with families and there is a restaurant on the site.
