The Hydraulic Sawmill Museum bears witness to the days of pre-industrialisation. The sawmill of Saint-George dates back to 1548 and is equipped with a hydraulic saw, which was installed in 1816. The water from two ponds is used to feed an enormous wheel measuring some 6.5 meters in diameter. On the first floor of the mill is a small museum detailing the history of ploughing implements and tools made predominantly out of wood. The museum is dedicated to ensuring we do not forget how some quite primitive machines and tools were used.
