Hüttnersee is a small but pleasant lake, situated approximately 4.5 km southwest of Richterswil, with its northern shore on the outskirts of the village of Samstagern. Features other than the lake(which is about 0.165 km²), include a float, a one-metre diving board, a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports and a large grassed area with shade suitable for both sunbathing and for picnics. Facilities provided include changing cubicles and toilets. There is a kiosk and a restaurant
