Located on the western side of the city, the Freibad Heuried is part of a large sports complex. The lido has a main 50-metre open-air pool and a separate diving pool, with 1-metre, 2-metre and 3-metres platforms, these pools are supplemented by a 20-metre non-swimmers’ pool and a 10-metre children’s paddling pool. Features include a water slide, grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, boules, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles lockers, toilets, a restaurant and a barbeque area.
