Located in pleasant rural surroundings about 6 km north of Winterthur, the Hettlingen Lido offers an open-air bathing complex under lifeguard supervision. The swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a 47-metre waterslide, 1-metre and 3-metre diving platforms, a beach volley ball court, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers, toilets and parking. There are barbeque facilities, fitness classes and full moon swimming. Umbrellas and loungers can be hired.
