The Herzogenbuchsee Lido is situated some 15 km east of Solothurn. There is a 50-metre open-air pool, which has 1-metre and 3-metre diving boards/platforms, a 30-metre non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other facilities include a water slide, various water features, grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a beach volleyball court and areas for a number of other games, changing cubicles, lockers, toilets and showers. The main indoor pool is 25 metres and there are also non-swimmers’ and children’s paddling pools. The complex also has a kiosk and restaurant, a solarium and sauna.
