The attractive Hallenbad Herti, in the northwest of the city, is one of Zug’s two indoor swimming pools and has a 25-metre pool heated to 30°C under lifeguard supervision. Its facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, and fitness classes are available. The other indoor pool is the Hallenbad Loreto, located at Loretostrasse 10 on the northeast side of Zug (tel. +41 (0) 41 728 69 70), is also an attractive complex with virtually identical facilities. Both pools are used mainly by schools, but are available to the public.
