The town of Heiden lies approximately 16 km east of St Gallen and the Schwimmbad Heiden is an open-air bathing complex with a full range of pools and facilities to suit the whole family. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
