Hallau is located about 17 km west of Schaffhausen. If you are planning to visit the wine museum there (see separate entry), why not make a day of it and enjoy the Hallau Lido with its good facilities? The 50-metre open-air swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a water slide, plenty of grassed sunbathing area with shade, a children’s playground and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers toilets, a kiosk, a restaurant and a barbeque area.
