Located northeast of Saanen in the Sannenmöser area, the Gstaad Saanenland Golf Course, at 1,400 metre above sea level, was founded in 1962. The 18-hole course, set in a mountainous landscape, was designed by Peter Harradine. It is considered one of the most beautiful in the Alps, measures 5,305 metres, and has a par rating of 70. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, practice bunker, pitching green, pro shop and a restaurant. Clubs, carts and hand and electric trolleys can be hired. The course is normally playable from May until October.
