Gossau is located about 10 km west of St Gallen and, in addition to its good lido complex the Freibad Gossau (see separate entry), has the Hallenbad Rosenau indoor bathing complex. The heated baths are under lifeguard supervision and the 25-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a 16.6-metre non-swimmers’ pool. Other features include a one-metre diving board, a 23-metre waterslide, Tarzan course and various pool accessories. Facilities include a solarium, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. Various classes are available and there is an automatic snack/drinks dispenser. The facility is open throughout the year; check the website for hours.
