Golf Engadin, located about 6 km northeast of St Moritz, was formed in 2005 and combined the clubs of Engadin Golf Samedan and Engadin Golf Zuoz and runs both 18 hole courses (see separate entry for the Zuoz course). The Samedan course measures 6,217 metres with a par rating of 72 and was designed by golf architect Mario Verdieri; it has a superb mountain backdrop. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, pitching green, pro shop and restaurant. Golf clubs, trolleys and carts can be hired.
