Gattikon is located about 2.5 km southwest of Thalwil and its indoor bathing complex, the Hallenbad Schweikrüti, offers a bad weather alternative to lake bathing. Integrated into the Schweikrüti School buildings, the baths are under lifeguard supervision and have a 25-metre swimmers’ pool at 28.5°C, complemented by an 8–metre non-swimmers’ pool at 32°C. There is a small waterslide and facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is an automatic snack and drinks machine. The complex is open throughout the year except for a maintenance period in July/August. Check the website for public opening hours.
