The Fricktaler museum, located in the historic ‘Haus zur Sonn’ (House to the Sun), provides the visitor with insight into the history of the Frick valley, the town of Rheinfelden and the lives of its inhabitants. The museum’s versatile collection displays archaeological finds, models, pictures and blueprints of historic buildings, religious art, local handicrafts, documents, exhibits related to the fishing industry and much more. The section devoted to the emergence of the plague and its effects is of particular interest. The museum also stages special exhibitions.
