The ski resort of Rüschegg/Eywald, located about 30 km by road west of Thun, has a most attractive open-air bathing complex under lifeguard supervision, located at 1,050 metres above sea level. The 25-metre heated swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, both of which use spring water. Features include a one-metre diving board, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. and a rope garden. Facilities include a tennis court, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a barbeque area and a restaurant.
