Located at Gerlafingen, approximately 6 km southeast of Solothurn, the Eicholz Lido offers a complete range of open-air swimming pools and good facilities on the outskirts of the town. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented with a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre and 3 metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a water slide, various water accessories, a children’s playground, plenty of grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers and toilets, a kiosk, restaurant and a public wireless internet connection.
