Located about 11 km northwest of Rapperswil, the Eichbüel Lido offers open-air swimming under lifeguard supervision with good facilities. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a diving tower with one-metre and three-metre platforms, an 81-metre waterslide, various pool accessories, a children’s playground, grassed areas with shade suitable for sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There are barbeque areas and a kiosk/restaurant. Fitness classes are available and umbrellas and loungers can be hired.
