Strandbad Eich is located off the coastal road about 6 km southeast of Sursee; it offers lake bathing on the eastern shore of the attractive Sempachersee with an on-shore children’s paddling pool. Other features include a float, water accessories, a children’s playground and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. There is a large grassed area with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets and there is also a kiosk and a restaurant. When wind conditions are right, the adjacent area is very popular with surfers.
