The small town of Eglisau is situated on the banks of the river Rhine, about 20 km southwest of Schaffhausen. The Flussbadi Burgweg offers a delightful location for river bathing with free entry, a one-metre diving board and plenty of grassed areas with shade on the banks, suitable for sunbathing and for picnics. Facilities include a kiosk, changing cubicles, showers and toilets. Interest is added by the regular river boat service to nearby villages and you may like to explore the interesting local museum.
