Egelsee is a small natural lake near Bubikon, approximately 5 km north of Rapperswil; its surface area is about 4.3 hectares (about 10.6 acres) and the dark water offers delightful lake swimming under lifeguard supervision. Features include a float, various water accessories, a waterslide, one-metre diving board, beach volleyball court, grassed area with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets and parking. There are barbeque facilities, a kiosk and a restaurant.
