The Badi Döttingen is one of the delightful open-air bathing complexes in this region and is located about 5 km southwest of Bad Zurzach alongside the River Aare. It is under lifeguard supervision and the 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a 25-metre non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with one-metre and three-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool, all of which are heated to 25°C. Features include a waterslide, pool accessories, children’s playground, grassed sunbathing areas with shade areas and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include a barbeque area, kiosk, snack bar, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
