Located in the Roman Catholic Church at Stäfa, about 8.5 km along the coastal road from Rapperswil, are the stained glass windows by the artist Dan Rubinstein (b.1940). Funded by public donation and carried out after extensive discussion of detail for the ‘Kirchweihfest 2003’, these beautiful examples of Rubinstein’s art can be seen throughout the day, but bear in mind you need to see them in daylight. The Iraeli-born artist came to Zürich to study art in 1964. Many biblical subjects are portrayed, starting with Abraham and concluding with the victory of David.
