The village of Thayngen is approximately 10 km northeast of Schaffhausen and its Büte Lido offers a full range of open-air pools to suit the whole family. Conveniently arranged for easy supervision, the swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a separate diving pool with one-metre and three-metre boards, a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a water slide, a grassed area for sunbathing with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets and there is a kiosk. Whilst in Thayngen why not visit the local history museum?
