Bruggerhorn public beach and camping ground is located at St Margrethen, about 23 km northwest of St Gallen, and provides swimming and fun for the whole family. Apart from swimming in the lake, which has a three-metre-high diving platform and a one-metre-high springboard, there is a large grassed sunbathing area, an 18 metre non-swimmers pool and a children’s paddling pool with a fountain. Other facilities include cubicles, lockers, toilets and showers, a children’s playground, water slide and float, a beach volleyball court and table tennis. There are also barbecue areas, a restaurant and kiosk.
