Located at the southern end of Bahnhofstrasse by the Quaibrücke (see separate entries), Bürkliplatz landing stage is the place from which the cruises on Lake Zurich depart. The 1½ hour and 4 hour cruises are very popular, but there is also a 1 hour lunchtime cruise, Monday to Friday, on which a light lunch is served. On Saturdays there is a flea market (Flohmarkt) which is a great place to rummage, particularly for antiques and second-hand jewellery. Bürkliplatz is also home to an annual whisky festival which takes place on six moored deluxe boats. There are fabulous lake views.
