The Hallenbad Hirslen indoor bathing complex in Bülach, about 18 km west of Winterthur, offers a winter and inclement weather alternative to the open-air Bülach Lido (see separate entry). The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a 12-metre non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool, all under lifeguard supervision. Other features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms and a 25-metre waterslide. Facilities include a sauna, solarium, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a restaurant, massage is available and there are 250 free parking spaces (partly covered).
