Located about 7 km west of Schaffhausen, the Beringen Lido offers open-air bathing in family friendly surroundings. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a diving pool with a diving tower and 1-metre and 3-metre platforms, a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include water amusements, plenty of grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a children’s playground, a beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a snack bar with a daily menu and a barbeque area.
