Located in Wiesendangen, about 6 km northeast of Winterthur, the Büel Lido is in pleasant rural surroundings and one of a number of open-air bathing complexes in the region with a full range of pools and facilities. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Facilities include a 42-metre waterslide, children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton table, tennis, etc. Facilities include a kiosk and a restaurant, parking, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
