Located in a park in the northeast part of the city, the Freibad Auhof is a family open-air swimming pool complex. The main pool is 50 metres long, with 1-metre and 3-metre diving boards/platforms; it is supplemented by a 25-metre non-swimmers’ pool and an 18-metre children’s paddling pool. There is plenty of grassed sunbathing with shade, a children’s playground and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a restaurant and a barbecue area.
