As a result of the Reformation, the Augustiner Church, which had been built by the Hermits of Augustine in 1270, became a wine cellar and then the home and workshops of the master coiner. It was not to be reinstated as a church until 1841. Last renovated in 1958/59, the highlights include the 1965 glass paintings by August Wanner (1886-1970) and the crucifixion group, the altar and the font designed by Franz Fischer. Also of note are the memorial slab to the knight Vigilius Gradner, the Christophorus fresco and the mural fragments in the sacristy.
