The Flussbad Au-Höngg is a river bathing complex on Werd Island (Werdinsel), offering both swimming in the Limmat River and two large children’s paddling pool. There is also a waterfall and it is an attractive place for a family outing. The island lies between the river and a canal, entry is free, there is night bathing and part of the island is a nudist area. There are various water accessories, plenty of grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, football, etc. Facilities include barbeque areas, a kiosk, snack bar, restaurant, lockers showers and toilets.
