The Anthropological Institute and Museum are located at the University of Zürich. The Institute aims to understand the origins and evolution of human morphology and behaviour through research. The museum, which belongs to the university’s Faculty of Science, is located in Building Y 10. It provides an overview of human evolution from Australopithecus to Modern Man, with touch screens which explore the world of monkeys, a collection of animal skulls and displays which explain the function of the cerebral cortex.
