The Seebad Altendorf, offering lake bathing with free entry, is located approximately 7 km south of Rapperswil on the other side of the Zürichsee; it is reached via the Seedammstrasse. Features include a float, water slide, one-metre springboard and various water accessories. There is a beach volleyball court, a children’s playground, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a kiosk, snack bar, restaurant and a barbeque area.
