Located in a large park at Oerlikon about 6 km north of Zürich, the Freibad Allenmoos offers open-air bathing under lifeguard supervision with good facilities. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a 52-metre non-swimmers’ pool and an 8-metre children’s paddling pool. Features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a 72-metre water slide, a large children’s playground, grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, etc. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, toilets, a restaurant and a barbeque area. Massage is available.
