Located about 14 km southwest of Kreuzlingen on the banks of the River Thur, the Weinfelden Lido offers open-air bathing under lifeguard supervision, with facilities to suit the whole family and free parking. The solar heated 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a 46-metre waterslide, various pool accessories, a diving tower with one-metre, three-metre and five-metre platforms, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There are barbeque places and a kiosk/restaurant.
