The Schwimmbad Villmergen is located about 8 km southeast of Lenzburg; it was opened in 1984 and has a full range of open-air pools under lifeguard supervision and good facilities. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a diving tower with one-metre and three-metre platforms, a waterslide, various pool accessories, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers, toilets and a kiosk.
