The Schwimmbad Thurfeld is attractively situated beside the River Thur at Schönenberg an der Thur, some 16 km south of Kreuzlingen. This open-air bathing complex has good facilities under lifeguard supervision and the swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a waterslide, various pool accessories, a beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, etc. Facilities include parking, a restaurant, changing cubicles, showers and toilets. It is open from the beginning of May until the latter part of September.
