The Ladies’ Bath in Neuchâtel dates back to the end of the 19th century, when the Bains des dames was a public bath house for women and children. Its specially designed horseshoe shape was intended to screen bathers from prying eyes, while providing easy access to the lake. It was completely renovated in 2006, when a restaurant called Les Bain de Dames took over most of the original building. The restaurant has a wonderful terrace overlooking the lake (reservations +41 (0)32 721 26 55). The building is also home to the water-skiing club, Ski Nautique.
