The House Visinand is located in the heart of the old town of Montreux. Built in 1592 at la Rue du Pont, it is where Eugène Rambert, the Swiss historian, literary critic, biographer, art critic, naturalist, poet and story-teller was born in 1830. The building is listed as a historical monument. It has now been converted into the cultural centre of Montreux. The building encompasses an exciting exhibition hall, an attic used as a gallery and a conference room.
