Exhibited in the Park of Sculptures of the Pierre Gianadda Foundation are two sculptures by Marc Chagall, Bird and Fish. They were originally sculpted for Ira Kostelitz in 1964 and donated to the foundation by her husband in 2004. A pavilion, identical to the one in Paris where the sculptures were first housed, has been built in the gardens, known as the Chagall Court. It is the first mosaic of the Foundation Collection, but an added rarity is that Chagall’s works include very few mosaics.
