St Prex is situated on Lake Geneva’s north bank, a short driving distance along the coast road from Morges. It is a picturesque old market town with cobbled streets and ancient-looking quaint street signs. The church dates back to at least 885, which is when it first appears in official records. Sights worth viewing (in addition to the beauty of the lake and surrounding countryside) are the Tour de l’Horloge (Clock Tower), the local Glassworks and some truly stunning lakeside gardens and villas.
