About 20 minutes on foot from the Château St-Maire (see separate entry) is the observation tower of Signal de Sauvabelin (647 m). From there, visitors are able to enjoy a magnificent panorama. Nearby, at the Route du Signal, is the Villa Hermitage which is located in a beautiful park. The foundation de "l’Ermitage" organizes excellent art expositions. There is a Vivarium at the north end of the Park Bois de Sauvabelin, which houses diverse reptiles, including a significant collection of poisonous European snakes. The Vivarium is located at Chemin de Boissonet.
