The town of Schüpfheim is situated approximately 30 km southwest of Lucerne and its open-air bathing complex, located on the outskirts of the town, typifies the attractive facilities provided in rural Switzerland. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a waterslide, various pool accessories, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, large grassed sunbathing areas and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, boules, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a barbeque area and a restaurant.
