The Park of St. Michele is conveniently located to visit from Ruvigliana, Castagnola and the halfway station of the Monte Brč funicular. The sculptor Anna Baumann-Kienast produced a number of pieces which are on display in the park. Its most attractive feature is its location and panorama. Visitors can look across the gulf of Lugano, with its harbours, Lido and lakeside promenade. Monte San Salvatore is its backdrop and the Alps are visible in the distance, stunning against a setting sun. One can see Melide, Campione, Monte Sighignola and Bissone.
