The beautiful 12th century Romanesque church beside the lake in the small village of Saint-Sulpice, locatated to the west of Lausanne, is a moving reminder of medieval times. Found in Chemin du Cret, the picturesque building is one of the regions most popular tourist attractions. But the village has even more to offer. The broad lawn in front of the landing stage for the boat service from Lausanne and Ouchy, the children’s playground with pond and observation tower, all give this waterside spot a delightful atmosphere. Nearby is the tiny fishermen’s port of Les Pierrettes.
