The Rosenegg Museum is housed in a three part classicist building, erected between 1685 and 1775. One part of the museum focuses on traditional housing, with furnished rooms portraying historic living in Kreuzlingen, whilst another, ‘On Both Sides’, covers the history of the border relationships between the town and Konstanz. There is an exhibition of weights and measures and, more recently, ‘The Kreuzlingen Region’, focusing on the settlement, development, traditions and handicrafts of the area. The museum also stages temporary exhibitions, with such themes as local art and artists, concerts, recitals and other cultural events.
