The Chemin de fer Bière-Apples-Morges (BAM) is a metre gauge railway with a total length of almost 30 kilometres, which links the towns in its name. It also operates the funicular at Cossonay. Originally the trains were all steam-powered. The company offers, apart from its regular routes through this stunning area, themed journeys such as jazz evenings and wine route events. The jazz journeys take place throughout the year with meals included. It is also possible to hire carriages for private functions.
